Two score and 17 years ago, our founder brought forth on this continent a new restaurant, conceived in hunger and dedicated to the proposition that our Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef are amazing! We aren’t lying when we say Honest Abe would give us the old “hats off” to have our legendary Chicago-style food in his hometown.
Portillo’s with a capital P is cake shaking our way to to Springfield—the capital of our home state of Illinois. We are bun-believably excited to serve you our Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-broiled burgers, fresh salads and world-famous chocolate cake!
Our new restaurant is expected to open in the second half of 2020 and will be located in Veteran’s Corridor, a popular restaurant and retail destination right off high-traffic Veterans Parkway. We sure get a kick from our 66th restaurant paying homage to the nearby Historic Route 66. We can’t wait to meat you all!
