Or these as a gift to my sister, however, I was so disappointed they all came unwrapped and pure white as if they were frostbitten and old. Did get there on time for her birthday, but she was not able to enjoy them as she planned with her company. Spoke with customer service sent them pictures And they sent out a new batch. This should have never happened to ever pack. This order should have been able to look at this and tell that there was a problem, but they still sent them. Portillo’s should have offered some sort of gift card as an apology but that just didn’t happen and I have ordered from them maybe four or five times these tamales. I will continue to order from them, however, hope that I am not taking through this again as I stated there was no apology just simply resent the order after I proved my point with pictures customer service is very important at this one I feel, they failed at making a customer satisfied . however I would definitely continue to order from Portillo’s. !

A delicious item, i actually frequented the dog house with my parents, and later years with my husband. I love the tamales, nice huge tamales, beef filled, with a nice thick corn outside. defiantly worth the price, a must have with your hot dog for a great meal. Great taste, same quality as years gone by remembering a great place in Chicago, where I lived for 67 years and can still enjoy the great taste today, thank you

I live in Michigan and was missing my tamales. They are the best I have been eating them for years. So glad I am able to order them.

These are the best tamales. A little large quantity but freeze well & steam heat just as well. The delivery system maintained the frozen state. Since they are not sold in the restaurant, this is the only way to enjoy them. Also wish a Portillo’s was located closer to The Villages, Fl. Would enjoy it so much more often.

We have enjoyed these for many years at the Portillos restaurants but for some reason thye no longer sell them at our location. We purchase them on line for us and other family members. We all enjoy this unique tamale. It is a great value with quick delivery when ordering online at the Portillo's site.

Grew up in Chicago and we retired to SC. They're the best ! Everything ! Tamales, Chicago dogs (go Cubs), their combo sandwichs (they don't sell here or even know what they are.. DUH). Never been disappointed and always happy to put in freezer and have on hand. GREAT FOOD THAT BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES. I LOVE YOU !

Growing up in Chicago I assumed that anything called a tamale was going to be exactly like these tamales. The perfectly spiced and seasoned ground beef wrapped in yellow cornmeal was a favorite in my large Italian family. The Portillio's Arizona locations had the tamales on the menu here until 2020, the year everything changed. It's confounding that the company can ship 40 tamales anywhere in the country in 2 days but they can't get them to their restaurants in Arizona or California. Is this really a "supply chain issue" or something else? Portillo's is evasive on providing an adequate explanation. If you can afford the $90 and have the required storage capacity - get these tamales. You're gonna love em!

I ordered these for a party. 40 was too many but have frozen most of them. The group had not been very interested in tamales but several who did try them, ate more than one. ?? They were a great hit. I also had the polish & Italian sausage along with the beef. Wonderful dinner.

I already know these are great Tamales because I have eaten them for years.

Used to frequent Portillo's as a child and young adult in Chicago where we lived. Our local Portillos in Indiana stopped carrying tamales and we were bummed. We found out that these gems can be ordered online and delivered to your door!! Delivery was extremely fast and nicely packed in a huge cooler box with ice packs. The tamales are the absolute best!! Will be ordering again soon!

We have not been able to find tamales in the restaurants for a few years now and were disappointed and sad. When we saw them available online we were so excited! They are the best!! And they shipped perfectly and taste just like we were in a Portillos!! Love them.
