- Review finance/operating leases, prepare monthly ASC 842 rent entries and schedules, complete escrow reconciliations, and coordinate with legal for new restaurant lease activity.
- Comply with local and state sales and use reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Proactively review related accounting policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing basis, and recommend updates and improvements to those policies, procedures, and systems; identify process improvements and assist in implementation of improvements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Lead change by recognize that change is essential, set goals for change, and lead purposeful adaptations to work that align with the companies stated vision.
