UPDATE: February 28, 2022: Effective February 28th, 2022, Illinois (including Cook County and City of Chicago) is lifting mask and proof of vaccine requirements for public spaces, including restaurants. Our guests and Team Members in Illinois now have the option of whether or not to wear masks while inside our restaurants. Portillo's team members and guests in our California locations will need to continue wearing masks inside the restaurants.

Maintaining the health and safety of our guests and the Portillo’s family remains our top priority. Effective today, January 3, 2022, in compliance with the City of Chicago and Suburban Cook County COVID-19 mandate, all guests opting to dine-in at our restaurants aged 5 and older must show valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. Guests aged 16 years and older must also provide a photo ID.

Guests who are frequenting our restaurant for pick up takeout orders are not required to show proof of vaccination.

  • Homewood, IL
  • Harwood Heights, IL
  • Skokie, IL
  • Chicago (Clark & Ontario)
  • Chicago (Canal & Taylor)
  • Chicago (Addison & Kimball)
