Our all-time favorite mail-order food is no more. Sad! You guys cheaped out and chose more profit vs. quality. It used to be that a meal kit showed up at our front door all ready to prepare and indulge. No more. You cheaped out (and raised your prices) and omitted the tomato and onion. Now I must run to the store and get some over-ripened tomatoes and an onion that isn't nearly as sweet as a Portillo's onion. And then you give us a jar of pickles I can buy on Amazon. Wow. Our holiday gifts from Portillo's will be no more. Eventually, this will hurt your sales. Whoever thought up this idea should be fired! Also, whoever thought of giving people a giant container of celery salt with a giant Portillo's logo on it should be given a massive raise! You have advertisements in tens of thousands of people's cupboards forever! A brilliant idea! And whoever thought to replace that container with "Vienna" celery salt should be fired! Bye Bye Portillo's. We used to love you!

It arrived one day late from the scheduled delivery date - seems FedEx lost it - so when it arrived - all was thawed out - tough to eat ten dogs and ten tamales in several days before they all go bad - not Portillo's fault - but maybe they could find a better packing solution to keep things frozen a day or two longer since they rely on FedEx which lately has had issues getting things to arrive on schedule. And with summer coming up - heat is a killer. Otherwise - dogs and tamales as good as I remember, will order again.

Better than the version we get at Portillo's in Chicago because it's easier to take time to prepare the ingredients and assemble them properly.

As a relocated Chicago resident you can't find anything like Portillo's here except for one place that comes close. I order a couple of times a year for family gathering and everyone loves it.

Just like I remembered! Could've used a little more relish

I sent this as a gift to family that are from Chicago and miss Portillo's food. They received the order quickly and consumed it within a day but the buns were stale, the hot dogs had a strange texture, almost like they were old and didn't taste right. A lot of money spent for food they couldn't even enjoy.

Was fast, and easy to order. Food was cold and fresh

Perfect box! Just the right amount of the best hot dogs and buns and those extremely hard to find DELICIOUS tamales!!!!

The order came on time and was packed well with all the ingredients as advertised. We followed the directions to prepare the food that were included and the final product was just like being at Portillo’s.

Really fun kit to make. We had friends over and we followed the instructions as written to make our hotdogs and I am glad we did…I would never have put a pickle or sporty peppers, or tomatoes on mine…but now I’ve gotta do it the “right way”. The only thing I wish was that the hot dogs were the jumbo’s instead of the skinny ones that came in the kit (maybe there could be a way to “choose” in the future). Everything arrived in great condition, including the poppyseed hotdog rolls. Will definitely do it again when we’ve got friends in town!

This is an amazing pack to send your college student who loves Portillo but lives far away. The packing is great. The hats are fun. The only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is shipping. When you order you pick a shipping date. Since it is food, you want someone to be there and accept the package. The order package was delivered early.

Sent this to my son for his birthday. He said the Hot dogs tasted just like ones he used to buy at the store in St. Charles, IL.

The box arrived in great condition. The hotdogs were thawed & the bun pkg had a about a 1" hole in it were it had been torn. Everything else was in great condition. We ate them and they were very good. The pkging or people who pkg them needs to be better. But the quality of the food is still very good. We will order again. But we wish there was a Portillo’s in our state.
