PORTILLO’S TO HOLD GRAND OPENING FOR NEW WEST KISSIMMEE RESTAURANT ON JANUARY 10
The iconic Chicago-style restaurant will be the Company’s fifth location in the state of Florida
OAK BROOK, Ill., January 4, 2023 – Portillo’s (NASDAQ: PTLO), the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago street food, today announced it will hold the grand opening for its newest restaurant, located in West Kissimmee, FL, on Tuesday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. ET, following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. The restaurant, located at 8041 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (US 192), marks Portillo’s fifth restaurant in the state of Florida.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will include Portillo’s VP of Restaurant Support, Michael Portillo. During the ceremony, Portillo’s will also present two local charity partners, Education Foundation Osceola County and The Hope Partnership, with a check in celebration of the brand’s grand opening.
Once open, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago- style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake. Situated just outside of Orlando on US 192 about a half-mile east of its intersection with SR 429 and directly across the street from the popular Margaritaville Resort – as well as a short drive from the state’s most popular tourist destination, Disney World – the 7,800-square-foot restaurant will feature seating for nearly 300 guests and a double drive-thru lane. The restaurant will include a garage- themed interior and an outdoor patio area.
