The votes are in. Chicago can’t wait for its newest Portillo’s restaurant to open. The good news is that your voices have been heard: The grand opening for the newest restaurant on Chicago’s Northwest side will be held November 2, 2020.
No matter who you want to be top dog after the presidential election the following day, we know you only have fries for our Chicago-style hot dogs, famous Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers and homemade chocolate cake. So make sure you cake shake your way into the newest Portillo’s, located at 3343 W. Addison, for some deliciousness.
The restaurant officially opens to the public at 10:30am on November 2. To keep the momentum going on grand opening day, we’ve got some bun-believable giveaways created in partnership with Chicago artists. Portillo’s worked with Reppin’, a local pin company, to create limited-edition pins that will be handed out to the first 100 guests in the drive-thru on grand opening day. We also partnered with local artist and designer Ryan Duggan for the location’s t-shirt, which will be given to guests in the drive-thru, while supplies last.
To prioritize the safety and well-being of our team members and guests, as well as abide by local regulations related to COVID-19, the new restaurant will initially open for drive-thru, curbside and delivery business only. Portillo’s fans can order online at portillos.com. The restaurant will open inside for dine-in guests at a later date.
