Batter up, Wrigleyville. We’re excited to announce plans to open a new restaurant just steps from one of the country’s most iconic baseball fields, bringing our iconic Chicago-style food to one of the city's most legendary neighborhoods.
Whether you're grabbing a Chicago-style hot dog before first pitch, celebrating a win with a Chocolate Cake Shake, or introducing out-of-town friends to their very first Italian beef sandwich, we're making it even easier to get your Portillo's fix in the heart of our hometown.
The new restaurant will be located at 3519 N. Clark Street, making it easier than ever to grab a bite anytime a craving calls. It will be approximately 4,600 square feet and feature more than 60 seats, offering Portillo's experiential dine-in experience in addition to pick-up and delivery. It will also feature our first-ever walk-up window, constructed for ordering and pickup.
The announcement also comes during Portillo's inaugural Hot Dog Season, our summer-long celebration of the food that started it all. For a limited time, guests can try our all-new Char'diniera Dog, a char-grilled beef hot dog infused with giardiniera and provolone cheese, created in partnership with Vienna Beef.
