PORTILLO’S TO HOLD GRAND OPENING FOR NEW SCHERERVILLE RESTAURANT ON NOVEMBER 15
The iconic Chicago-style restaurant will be the Company’s eighth location in the state of Indiana
OAK BROOK, Ill., November 10, 2022 – Portillo’s (NASDAQ: PTLO), the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago street food, today announced it will hold the grand opening for its newest restaurant, located in Schererville, IN, on Tuesday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. CT, following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. The restaurant, located at 1403 US 41, marks Portillo’s eighth restaurant in the state of Indiana.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will include Portillo’s VP of Restaurant Support, Michael Portillo. During the ceremony, Portillo’s will also present its charity partners, Lake Central Education Foundation and the Food Bank of North West Indiana, with a check for the funds raised during the brand’s Sneak Peek training meals on November 7 and 8.
Once open, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
