Whether you’re near or far, enjoy Chicago’s finest! Our Famous Italian Beef is thinly sliced and slow-roasted for 4 hours in our secret blend of Italian spices. Customize each sandwich to your liking by adding over roasted sweet peppers, hot giardiniera peppers, and as much of our secretly spiced gravy as you'd like!
This sandwich kit makes 8 Italian Beef sandwiches and includes the following:

  • Portillo's signature gravy (2 qts)
  • French bread rolls (8)
  • Oven roasted sweet peppers (8 oz)
  • Hot giardiniera (8 oz)

  • Prices include standard 2 day shipping Monday - Wednesday. Additional fees for Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday Shipping. Additional fees also apply to shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and will still arrive in 2 days.
  • A box may arrive on or before your delivery date as we work to get all packages out in a timely manner and delivered for your event. If you have any questions, please call 866-YUM-BEEF (866-986-2333).
  • Order for delivery in advance to beat the holiday rush. All food orders must be placed to arrive before December 21st. Cannot place order to arrive December 22-29.
  • Your package could arrive before or after your selected delivery date. UPS is experiencing high volumes and packages may be delayed.
  • Italian beef is shipped frozen, it is normal for it to start to defrost, especially in hot temperatures.
  • Italian Beef & gravy can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen up to 3 months for best quality.

    We have always enjoyed Portillos, since living in the Chicago area for YEARS. We now have Portillos in AZ, the closest one being 40 minutes away. We thought we'd try the frozen delivery. We could keep frozen what we didn't use for another time Unfortunately, when it was delivered, it had leaked all over the inside box and though the delivery cardboard box. We saw one of the packages was cut, and leaked all over the bags, the bread.... We had quite the mess to clean up. The saved sandwiches were VERY GOOD!

    Quality of beef is poor. No thinly sliced pieces of beef, mostly shredded tiny bits that you have to fish out of the gravy. 1 bag of gravy had a small hole and leaked. Even the bread is cheap, what happened to the baguettes you used to carry? I am from Chicago and loved getting Portillo’s growing up, but in recent years, the quality has declined. Thought it would be a nice treat for the family, not so much. Also, include onions and tomatoes with the hot dogs. Not something I would recommend or buy from now on. Delivery was quick.

    LOVE IT! We still wish a store was located nearby so we could have this more often! One thing of note-- I could do without, or at least a smaller jar, of Hot Giardiniera. We only use a tablespoon of it and the rest goes to waste. Maybe it should be an option. LOVE the Italian beef!!

    The last time I ordered for Portillos it was a mess the brick to keep everything cold spilt the gravy bag. I am glad to see that you figured it out it came in perfectly.

    It gets 100 degrees here in summer so I order Portillo's in cooler months. I really enjoy it. I don't use the sweet peppers so I stuff them into an ice cube tray and make cubes. I keep them in my freezer to add to soups and sauces. Yes, real Italian beefs, in the desert!

    A taste of home, especially on your birthday. The package contents were altered, and I think it was a wise decision, However, there MUST be a better way to package the gardinara. That was told to me, not by the recipient, but their wife. It leaked and it well, IT LEAKED. Let it go at that. Will it deter me from ordering Portillo's again NO. IT's a love hug from home. Nothing better, just do better with the gardinara, it can ruin a gift package.
