Whether you’re near or far, enjoy Chicago’s finest! Our Famous Italian Beef is thinly sliced and oven-roasted for 4 hours in our secret blend of Italian spices. Customize each sandwich to your liking by adding oven-roasted sweet peppers, hot giardiniera peppers, and as much of our secretly spiced gravy as you'd like!

This sandwich kit makes 16 half sandwiches and includes the following:

Portillo's signature gravy (2 qts)

Prices include standard 2 day shipping Monday - Wednesday. Additional fees for Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday Shipping. Additional fees also apply to shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and will still arrive in 2 days.
Non-food items will be sent using ground service, which can take 5-7 days to receive.
A box may arrive on or before your delivery date as we work to get all packages out in a timely manner and delivered for your event. If you have any questions, please call 866-YUM-BEEF (866-986-2333).
Order for delivery in advance to beat the holiday rush. All food orders must be placed to arrive before December 21st. Cannot place order to arrive December 22-29.
Your package could arrive before or after your selected delivery date. FedEx is experiencing high volumes and packages may be delayed.
Italian beef is shipped frozen, it is normal for it to start to defrost, especially in hot temperatures.
Italian Beef & gravy can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen up to 3 months for best quality.

This kit is amazing, and I will order again. The flavors are authentic and almost as good as being at Portillo's, which unfortunately is nowhere near where I live. I think the price is very fair for the amount of food you get and quality of that food. I would have marked this a 5-star review, but I did downgrade because one of the gravy packages had a small hole (or got one during transfer) and leaked out. Pictures are included. Thank you to Portillo's for offering to ship these kits. As noted, I will order again.

I am a longtime customer. This last order i received was horrible. The meat was cut to thick, the taste was off and all the meat was packed in one package to where you had to cook the whole thing. Whereas before it was separated to where you could cook half of the 8 sandwiches. It's only 2 of us, so I feel I wasted my money. You can't refreeze cooked meat. And it looses flavor. The breat is these little minis now. I called about my order and wanted a refund it was so bad. I will not order again, waste of money.

Great food BUT they changed to half size rolls and only one package of beef instead of two smaller ones which made it easy for two separate meals. Most likely will not order again unless they change back….will try Vienna Beef and see….

Very impressed with the entire process of ordering, shipping, and preparing. It taste just as good as being there. We don't have any Portillos in Oklahoma and being from the Chicago area I miss Italian beefs dearly. We have several imitators down here but none come close. And, yes, I would prefer the beef in 2 packs but not that big of a deal. Ours was delicious and we ate it all week long. Ours arrived still frozen and on time for a bday dinner. I thought the price was a bargain for 16 sandwiches. Only thing better would be if we had a Portillos here in Tulsa area. As it is now we only visit when going through Davenport, Iowa and Madison, WI. Will definitely order again.

High Marks all around, from the hotdogs, to the beef, to the cake. Everything was very well done. Had a small problem with part of the order. Customer service was strong and responsive wouldn’t think twice about ordering from Portillo‘s again no reservations whatsoever. Exceptional quality, and care.

The beef that only Chicago can provide, is readily available for shipping from Portillo's. This is an old favorite of mine from growing up in Chi-Town, the place where Italians perfected the art of making sliced roast beef sanwhiches many, many years ago. Very fast delivery - one day (free) instead of the expected two day delivery. Although the beef tasted the same as I have been used to, the quality of product was not the same. One package of beef was in a big chunk of long strings and difficult to work with. The buns were half the size, which was unexpected but tasted fine.

Not happy with some of the changes: The turano rolls that used to be in the package were better than the new ones, there are never enough peppers to complement the meat, and putting all the beef in one package is not a good idea. Once that one package is defrosted, all the meat needs to used. Previously, we were able to defrost the beef one package at a time and there was no waste.

As with every time I’ve ordered from Portillos an excellent meal enjoyed with friends. One very big request is that you return to the longer bread. One other thought is that you open a store in/near Charlotte NC. YOU WOULD HAVE NO REGRETS.

I placed an order to two different locations (states) and needed them shipped on a different day than the day I placed the order. This incorporated a weekend and I specified a date for arrival, which was like 5 days later than what I placed and it arrived on time with no hiccups.
