Italian Beef Sandwich Kit (Serves 8-10)

This was my 3rd order places this Holiday season. First 2 orders arrived with no problems. This order was a mess. Has to be reshipped 2 times. 1st gravy bag leaked in shipping container. 2nd was missing the beef. 3rd order arrived almost 2 weeks after 1st order and it was correct. 3rd time must have been the charm. 2 replacement orders isn't good for business. Thanks for finally getting us a good order

Ordering was easy and product arrived as promised.

This is a 10/10. My husband even mentioned he liked it better than eating at the restaurant. The portions were HUGE! It made 16 massive sandwiches, more au jus than we could have used, the meat was delicious, bread soft, and peppers were great. We still have part of a jar of the spicy in the fridge. Shipping arrived in the expected window, packed to keep quality fresh. Again, we liked these better than the one in the restaurant, which by the way are still fantastic. We will probably purchase a few of these packages every year for special occasions. Our native Chicago neighbors came over and it was like Christmas for them too.

The buns were awful, one side of the buns were soggy and wet, the other side of the buns were hard as a rock. Not great for the amount we paid for.

I placed an order on 12/23 and paid $30 for the order to be delivered next day 12/24. The package did NOT arrive until Friday 12/26. So I was extremely disappointed.

Love to get shipments to Ohio after we visited your AZ stores frequently! Would like the meat to come in 2 seperate packages as we can’t eat all after opened. Please consider

We have had Portillo's Italian beef shipped to our home for the last 3 Christmas'. It has always been fabulous!! This was the first year we ordered directly fro Portillo's! Great job, please keep doing it this good!!

There were no green peppers in the shipment. Would you please send a shipment so we can prepare our sandwiches. My wife has checked twice and they are nowhere to be found.

I'm originally from Chicago and have been eating Portillo's beef sandwiches for a long time. For the last 21 years we've been ordering on line and having it shipped. I order directly from Portillos but lately it seems to ship from Tastes of Chicago. The last couple of shipments from Tastes of Chicago the gravy has tasted weak and watered down and nothing like a Chicago Beef Sandwich. The last order (Christmas) my wife looked at me across the table and said "Does this taste like it's been watered down like that last order?", I said "Yeah it's either been watered down or maybe it sat in a freezer too long but sure does'nt taste like Portillo's beef." This is really disappointing because this has for 21 years been our taste of home. I don't think we will be ordering again because something has changed and not for the better.

I'm originally from Chicago and have loved Portillo's my whole life. I even went to high school with the Portillo's. I love the fact that you now get 16 smaller rolls instead of 8 larger rolls. The size is perfect for most people. And since 1 smaller roll is the perfect size for my family, we get 16 sandwiches out of this! What a deal! I've ordered from the Portillo's Nationwide Shipping 4 times last year. And even though I have a local Portillo's restaurant, I still like ordering on-line!

Delivery was on time. Food was completely frozen when it arrived. It tastes just heavenly! We will order again.

The Beef was a giant hit for our family Christmas party. Even the kids loved it . Sure wish y’all build here in the South . I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love it !!

I was happy to receive my shipment of Italian beef to enjoy until we make it to Chicago in a couple of months. I am disappointed that the sub buns changed to large "rolls", hopefully the taste will be the same. I was also disappointed to see that the beef comes in 1 large package instead of 2 smaller packages, it makes it inconvenient to eat it at different times. I did separate, cut the block of meat in half, to use at a later date. Please consider going back to the previous packaging and set-up, even if it costs more and might not be as convenient from a packaging standpoint. I hope the experience will live up to past memories of shipped Portillo's for those who can't get it locally.

My Grandmother loves Portillo’s. It’s a little taste of home for her. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the packaging changed. The meat used to come split in 2 packets but now it comes in 1 packet all together which sucks because you end up having to make the entire thing of meat instead of being able to save some for another time. Please go back to how you packaged things before. Thank you.

Italian beef sandwiches were delicious! They were our Christmas dinner!

We’ve always had a good experience until this time. Our box had both gravy bags that had holes and leaked all over the box. We contacted customer service and they did refund the whole order however because this was for the holidays I had to pay $20 for shipping to get it before January 6th. While I appreciate the full refund for the first order, paying shipping was not ideal when the first order I had free shipping. I asked if shipping could be waived but I guess that wasn’t an option. I also asked if we could just the gravy replaced but that was not an option either. Not the best experience this time but it happens I guess. Not sure how we feel about the smaller rolls but the gravy was better when in came in a tub.

Food got there on time and it fed everyone there.

The Italian beef kit is the best and comes with everything! Customer service is great we had a minor issue and they sent a replacement immediately! Look forward to my next order!

Best customer service, first order arrived damaged but the company promptly replaced the order. This was a Christmas gift and it was greatly appreciated. Best sandwiches ever. I will continue to order, this year I sent out 4 different orders and only one had an issue that was immediately corrected.

I always order a shipment of Italian Beef Sandwiches as a Christmas Gift for my husband. We always enjoy them. They are delicious. The quality is great and they are shipped as prearranged. The items needed to be cold ar still frozen.

Everything was perfectly shipped. We order yearly for Christmas since we moved from Chicago.

Great deal on box. Instructions were very easy to follow and enjoyed every bite. To make it more fun a Portillos hat can with the box.
