On Wednesday, September 18th 2019, the Mishawaka Portillo’s location celebrated their 500th Day of business! We wanted to thank the people of Mishawaka who have welcomed us to their community and supported us during our first 500 days. A special thank you to the South Bend Cubs, who kicked off our 500 day celebration by presenting our Portillo’s team with an official South Bend Cubs jersey.
To celebrate our 500th day, we offered $1 slices of our famous chocolate cake and handed out commemorative 500 Day celebration t-shirts. Plus, during the entire month of September, every guest who placed an online order from our Mishawaka location was entered into a sweepstake to win free Portillo’s for a year! At Portillo’s, we believe in serving up a better tomorrow and wanted to take our 500 day celebration as an opportunity to give back to our local community. During the month of September, 20% of all online order sales (up to $2,500) benefitted the PHM Education Foundation. We were honored to be joined by Mayor Dave Wood and Mari Linn Wise, Executive Director of P-H-M Education Foundation, for the check presentation.
It has been our honor to serve the Mishawaka community during our first 500 days, and we are looking forward to serving many more!
