The cake was very dry and did not have a rich chocolate flavor. Would not buy again.

Sent to dear friends for their anniversary. They absolutely loved it, and so did their whole family. Family members who don’t even like cake said it was delicious! They were so sad when it was all gone and asked us to send two more! Haha. Best chocolate cake, ever!

Normally yes, but the cake was a little dry and usually it’s moist and one of the frosting packets burst open in shipping.

The cake was all melted, was told by customer service not to eat it, was supposed to have been packed with gel ice packs. No ice packs with the cake, the beef was packed in ice and was fine. I was told I would be given refund for the cake. But they could not get another shipped in time for family birthday party. The italian beef was terrific. The cake is usually very good, but not sure about shipping it again.

I have purchased this cake and sent to my long time friend several times. Its not the cake thats the problem! The website always gets the order wrong and repeatedly sends more than the 1 cake that I order..and charge me a double price!!

Normally these cakes are amazing. This one missed the mark. It was shipped and delivered in very hot and humid weather (in the mid 90s) without anything to keep it cool. The cake was soft - tops ripped off by the plastic and icing melted. I’ll try one more time and if I am disappointed then my orders that I make (3-5 cakes a year) will stop.
