Our Revolving Doors Are Starting to Reopen!

We’re excited to reopen many of our dining rooms with limited capacity! This includes our restaurant in Illinois, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana and Iowa. The safety and well-being of our Team Members and our guests has always been a top priority, and never has that responsibility been clearer than it is now. That’s why we are implementing some extra precautions; we want to ensure everyone’s safety inside our restaurants.

We promote a fun, energetic environment at Portillo’s, and our team is looking forward to delivering that experience. Our dining rooms, however, might not be quite as bustling as you’re used to. We are limiting our inside occupancy, inclusive of our Team Members, guests, delivery drivers, vendors and anyone else who comes into Portillo’s.

What You Can Expect From Us

As we have continued to adapt to this ever-changing situation, we have heightened our already-rigorous cleaning and sanitation practices. Now that we are reopening our dine-in area, we have done refresher trainings with our teams on cleaning procedures for tables and chairs, as well as high-touch areas such as door handles.

For now, we’ll be providing you with individually wrapped and disposable condiment and cutlery packages, and we are eliminating self-serve condiments. We have also installed hand sanitizer stations for anyone to use.

To make sure we deliver you hot, fresh food in an efficient manner, we will continue to serve our limited menu during this time. We’ve updated the menus inside and have disposable printed copies available if you need one. You can find our limited menu here.

What We Ask of You

To protect our team and other guests, we ask that you do not enter the restaurant if you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms. You will see that our Team Members are continuing to wear gloves and masks, and we encourage you to use a facial covering as well.

If possible, we also encourage you to pay with debit or credit card instead of cash. And when you're done with your meal, please dispose of your garbage so that we can ensure waste disposal is contactless and that our Team Members can focus on speedy sanitation.

What About Social Distancing?

We have revamped our operation to allow for proper social distancing amongst our Team Members in the kitchen as well as outside. To make it easier for you to practice social distancing, we have added floor markers that indicate a six-foot distance for guests waiting in line to order and for those at the expedite window waiting to pick up food.

With the limited capacity, we have also removed many of our tables and expanded the space between the remaining tables to at least six feet apart. Please do not rearrange tables or chairs. Guests like to move the furniture to accommodate big parties, but right now party sizes are limited. Larger parties must be seated at separate tables.
