Prices include standard 2 day shipping Monday - Wednesday. Additional fees for Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday Shipping. Additional fees also apply to shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and will still arrive in 2 days.
A box may arrive on or before your delivery date as we work to get all packages out in a timely manner and delivered for your event. If you have any questions, please call 866-YUM-BEEF (866-986-2333).
Order for delivery in advance to beat the holiday rush. All food orders must be placed to arrive before December 21st. Cannot place order to arrive December 22-29.
Your package could arrive before or after your selected delivery date. UPS is experiencing high volumes and packages may be delayed.
Italian beef is shipped frozen, it is normal for it to start to defrost, especially in hot temperatures.
Italian Beef & gravy can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen up to 3 months for best quality.

Take noteThe tamales come individually wrapped but frozen in packs of ten so you can’t just make one or two at a time unless you thaw all 10. Because they are frozen in a block it took much longer than directed to cook from the frozen state so thaw first.

We have been loyal Portillo's customer for YEARS. We no longer live in Illinois so every year we've had their beef and tamales shipped to us everywhere we've lived (Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee). We love their tamales but HATE the packaging. Naturally, they arrive frozen. No problem. Ever since the Portillo's family sold the business, however, the tamales have been packed so tightly together that it is near impossible to separate them unless you cook all 10 (per package) at one time. Why make it more difficult for your customers?

Growing up in Chicago these type Tom Tom Tamales were often consumed in the cold winter months directly out of a steam bin attached to a bicycle. Topped with a spoon of hot chili your day would be satisfying reason being it sat well in my tank. Carrying me throughout the day playing outdoors. A regular staple. Good news today now that I can get those fresh tamales delivered to my door. I could never find a vendor until Portillo’s came through. Thank-you for expanding into Texas! Team up with Lou Malnoti’s Now & we will have a full service center!!

Recommend 50/50. We moved from Illinois 2 years ago and could not get tamales anywhere at least not the ones we love! We found out that Portillos ships them and we were so excited. The delivery was on time packed great. The directions should read boil water then place item in water for 15 minutes with gas off. We experienced opened tamales and cold middle our first 5 times cooking 2 tamales at a time. ?? We shared a pack of 10 with my parents and same issues with the directions. We lost a lot of the product. We always purchased frozen tamales in Illinois when eating at Portillos and never had this problem. They were wrapped differently when purchased at the location in person. Wish the Portillos in Lakewood Ranch served them. So many people from Illinois moved to this area. We also miss the RIBS! It was great to get a bit of home in our belly's. ??

These are delicious but over 1000 mg of salt is not a good thing and I don’t think I can even finish my order. I was eating them daily and my blood pressure just went up so high and then I looked and found that these had so much sodium
