Buckle up, Texans! We’re bun-believably excited to announce plans to expand in both the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth markets later this year. We’ve got restaurants planned for Katy, Stafford and Grapevine.
All three of these restaurants are designed to suit the needs of all our guests. Whether dining inside our lively dining rooms or on one of the outdoor patios, we’ve got a warm, welcoming space for you to enjoy your meal. Want to take your Chicago-style street food to go? No problem! All three new restaurants were designed with the off-premise guest in mind. We’ve got Portillo’s Pick Up shelves for takeout orders and delivery drivers; we’ve got a Grab and Go area for desserts, drinks and merch; and it wouldn’t be Portillo’s without our signature double drive-thru lanes.
Houston Expansion
Stafford: Our new restaurant in Stafford will be located between US-59 Frontage Road and Nexus Ave in The Grid, a reinvention of a landmark Texas Instruments campus. It’s a 6,200-square-foot restaurant with a Southwest diner theme and features our new “Restaurant of the Future” design.
Katy: We’re also headed to the town of Katy, with a restaurant located in Katy Grand on Grand Circle Blvd. The 7,700 square-foot restaurant will feature a retro automotive garage theme.
DFW Expansion
Grapevine: Our upcoming restaurant in Grapevine will sit between Highway 114 and South Main Street. The 5,850-square-foot build will be one of our first “Restaurant of the Future” designs and will sport a rustic Southwest garage theme.
Once the restaurants open, we hope you’ll cake shake in to enjoy our signature menu of Chicago-style hot dogs, famous Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake and more.
