Italian Beef Sandwich Kit (20 Sandwiches)

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST :-)!!! Growing up in Northern Indiana I miss the authentic Italian Roast Beef Sandwiches of the Chicago area. I have lived in Texas for 40-years and don't get to eat Italian Roast beef as often as I would like. I ordered the (20) sandwich kit and was worried we would not have enough meat for all of the guests at a party we hosted for Memorial day; however I packed the meat on each one and filled every bun. I am super stoked that two Portillos are being built within 30 miles of my home so I will no longer have to forgo my beef and hot dog cravings! For those less fortunate to have access to a brick and mortar Portillos, I would highly recommend purchasing direct online because you will not be disappointed.

I'd been craving Portillo's Italian Beef for a while and that's what I wanted for Father's Day. As always, it was delicious! While I know it's difficult to offer and fulfill "special" orders, I wish I could have added more bread and left the sweet peppers out (I don't like wasting stuff even if I don't like it). It also seemed like there was more gravy than needed. In spite of the comments above, I was very pleased to enjoy one of my top favorite foods with my family on Father's Day! Thank you for offering the shipping option.

Please use the plastic tubs for the gravy. It leaks from the bags upon delivery. Portillos beef sandwiches are always great!! Please build in Murfreesboro TN.

Easy instructions. Taste was just like the restaurant. Very happy with results.

Order for 20 sandwiches frozen. We typically thaw out and eat 4 at one time. You shipped us 5 frozen packages of buns, beef and gravy but 2 packages of frozen sweet peppers. If possible, it would have been perfect if you would have sent us 5-3 oz. frozen packages of sweet peppers instead of 2-8 oz. so we wouldn't have to thaw out 8 oz. of peppers for 4 sandwiches and refreeze the extra peppers. Now for my most important comment---When are you going to open a location in the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area in California. We have been waiting way too long, Thank you, Jim.

Our shipment was delivered on time and everything was frozen. The bread was fresh and perfect. It was great to be able to bring it a little bit of home to our kids, who LOVE Portillo's. The food cooked well and tasted just like we had picked it up from the restaurant.

I had my first Portillo's experience in March and then convinced both my family and my husband's family to have it as our Easter meal! Nothing beats fresh from the restaurant, but this was a close second considering there are no Portillo's in my state!

We purchased 2 of your 20 sandwich kits and everything arrived in perfect condition. The delivery driver asked if my 2 large boxes were from ‘THE’ Portillo’s, and when I told him YES, he said he couldn’t wait to tell his friends so they could order and have it shipped to them also! The instructions were easy and the ingredients were perfect, as was the final product when we fixed them on Mother’s Day. Thank you.

I have ordered the shipping service from Portillos a few times now and and never had any problems.

a little disappointing quite a few of the Juice plastic bags were torn and slightly defrosted. So the juice leaked out all over the shipping cooler and other contents. Messing clean up. Had to to wipe clean all 10 bags of juice, wipe all bags of rolls and rewrap in foil. Wipe all meat bags. Ordered enough for 40 sandwiches . Concerned I would not have enough juice but I did and all went well. Delicious!

As usual one of the gravy/juice packets leaked. Just seems no matter the packaging they try there is always a leak.

Made according to instructions. Preparation much more complicated than expected. Beef not as flavorful as expected. Probably better off buying a locally made sandwich. Certainly easier.

Our guests had never had the sandwich’s and the rave reviews made me feel I had made the right catering decision. Your food is amazing and the online ordering is amazing. The company should be very proud of itself and how you conduct business.

Amazing!!! just like I remembered 30 years ago when I lived in Glen Ellyn, IL. Easy Instructions, shipped as promised, and now my NY friends freaking love Portillos too!?? I can't wait to order again at the end of the month.
