Wondering what makes us legendary?
Our roots were sprouted in 1963, when our founder, Dick Portillo opened a very small hot dog stand in Villa Park, IL. Today, we have over 4,000 employees, over 50 businesses in four states, and do 27 million transactions a year. We’re constantly building new restaurants and adding team members to our existing locations. We also strive to promote people from within to join our management and corporate teams.
