On November 10, 2015, we opened our new restaurant in Gurnee, IL — our 41st Portillo's. Portillo's fans from all over northern Illinois joined us on opening day. The Mayor of Gurnee even closed the Village office for an hour so her whole staff could join in the festivities. Everyone enjoyed the restaurant's 1920s and 1930s Prohibition theme.
