Portillo’s opened its fourth restaurant in the Indianapolis area on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, with the grand opening of the fast casual’s new restaurant in Westfield, IN.
Diners were able to soak in the nostalgic atmosphere inside the '50s-era themed dining room or utilize the restaurant’s speedy drive-thru and curbside pickup services to enjoy their Italian beefs, Chicago-style hot dogs and Chocolate Cake Shakes in their cars or at home.
Prior to the grand opening, fans were invited for a free meal at Portillo’s on Monday, November 1, 2021 and Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The restaurant asked attendees to consider donating to one of the local charity partners, Open Doors Westfield and Westfield Education Foundation, with Portillo’s matching each organization's donation amount. The Westfield community came together and hit the fundraisers out of the park, raising $13,596 for Open Doors Westfield and $15,145 for the Westfield Education Foundation!
