Whether you’re near or far, enjoy Chicago’s finest! Our Famous Italian Beef is thinly sliced and oven-roasted for 4 hours in our secret blend of Italian spices. Customize each sandwich to your liking by adding oven-roasted sweet peppers, hot giardiniera peppers, and as much of our secretly spiced gravy as you'd like!

This sandwich kit makes 16 half sandwiches and includes the following:

Portillo's signature gravy (2 qts)
French bread rolls (16)

Prices include standard 2 day shipping Monday - Wednesday. Additional fees for Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday Shipping. Additional fees also apply to shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and will still arrive in 2 days.
Non-food items will be sent using ground service, which can take 5-7 days to receive.
A box may arrive on or before your delivery date as we work to get all packages out in a timely manner and delivered for your event. If you have any questions, please call 866-YUM-BEEF (866-986-2333).
Order for delivery in advance to beat the holiday rush. All food orders must be placed to arrive before December 21st. Cannot place order to arrive December 22-29.
Your package could arrive before or after your selected delivery date. FedEx is experiencing high volumes and packages may be delayed.
Italian beef is shipped frozen, it is normal for it to start to defrost, especially in hot temperatures.
Italian Beef & gravy can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days, or frozen up to 3 months for best quality.

While Portillos is my favorite beef sandwich my shipping order was not! I could tell as soon as my order arrived the corners of the box were all wet. I got the box 2 min after it was delivered by Fed Ex. After opening the gravy packets each had a hole so juice was everywhere, and my order was thawed to where I threw it away as I didn’t know for how long. Even the rolls were wet and couldn’t be used. I reported this to Portillos and said I wanted my money back and have not heard back from them.

since moving out of illinois, to south carolina,we have missed portillos,the population here does know pulled pork,, but not roast beef. we were ready to drive to orlando for a decent sandwich, when searching online for the closest portillos i remembered they ship to you,the cost is very nominal and we had the best dinner we have had since moving here. the 1st box had a foreign object that went through the box,pics taken, a we decided to throw it away. portillos replaced the order very fast, and the rest was pure joy. we will be using the order ship again, thank you portillos for making living in south carolina livable. tom and faith campbell

Excellent as always! One BIG thing I miss after moving from Chicago to Michigan. It would be more convenient if the beef came in two smaller packages. The bread has improved since the last time I ordered - much better.

These kits are great to have when you do not live near a Portillos. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because the beef is sent in an amount that too large. The beef used to come in 2 smaller portions and that was so much better.

Delicious and just as We remember living in the Chicago Area. Unfortunately, something leaked and every bag had to be rinsed. Cooler had quite a bit of liquid. Arrived as scheduled and still partially frozen.

I have been a long time customer since moving to SC from the Chicago area. Your product never disappoints. I do like the smaller bread size, but the meat needs to be packaged as two 1.25 lb. Packages. I had to partially thaw out the meat and cut in half to refreeze for another meal. We only have four of us to eat at one time. Go back to smaller packaged meat and your long time customers will be happy.

Shipment was actually damaged by FedEx for the second time Was given a partial refund. I don’t care for the bite-size French bread rolls Bring back the eight French rolls and include the sweet peppers. Other than that taste like home.

I noticed that there's a great deal more fat in the gravy - something that didn't used to be a problem. Also noticed that the beef is being sliced thicker and had more fat left on it.

disappointed that the meat came in one package, makes it hard to eat in 2 batches like my mom is used to - she's by herself. When I send it to her, she has my sister over for a meal and the 2.5 lbs of meat is too much for that and reheating multiple times makes it tough. Disappointed.
