Fantastic. Tasted just like it does in the restaurant. Plenty of meat and peppers for 8. My husband loved this as his bday present.

Arrived perfectly packed, still frozen nicely. After reheating everything per the pkg directions, this tasted AMAZING. Just like we were there!

One of the bags of gravy that I was sent had a large hole in it. The gravy had leaked out, soaking through the styrofoam container and shipping box. Essentially, I received one bag of gravy. I have attempted to contact customer service regarding this without success. I’ve ordered this product multiple times and have noticed the quality of the shipping packaging has gone down.

5 Chicago family members who now live in Texas and Florida got together in Texas and I wanted to have a meal that would bring back fond memories of lunches in Chicago. the Portillo beef sandwiches was a surprise and really hit the spot. Everyone loved it. Cannot wait till you get something in Houston Texas

Never disappointed. Delicious as ever! If you have never had a beef sandwich from Portillos you are missing out! I’ve shipped all over spreading the love! Sure wish we had Portillos in Alabama.

I bought this for my brother's 66th birthday. He absolutely loves Portillo's and misses eating there. This was a real treat and blessing for him. Everything came frozen with clear and easy directions on how to prepare it. Thank you Portillo's. It tasted GREAT!

Not quite a good as getting it freshly made and served to you but pretty close. Please bring portillo's to Colorado soon!!!

Portillos is one of my favorite foods. Since we moved from Illinois to Ohio in 1995 we order twice each year. Before I retired I used to get to the Chicago area about every 6 weeks and I always made sure I had lunch at Portillos.

I send to family that has moved from chicago across country, for birthdays and holidays all the time.

Much improved and back on track. After a couple of orders about a year ago that were not on par with the past, we tried again and the flavor of the gravy and the beef are great as they used to be! Many Thanks!

Already have. We have enjoyed Portillo’s for many years. We received this as a gift from family. But unfortunately the graveyard had leaked and it was all over the box and container. I sent an email stating that the gravy had leaked and we only had half when it arrived. You were more than generous and sent a complete replacement of the order. But again the gravy leaked. You really need to find a better way to package the gravy.

The order has still not arrived. Ordered for delivery on 6/14/24 and still not delivered. I have tried calling Fed Ex and while I can see that it’s sitting at the Rancho Cordova, CA location they will not tell me anything. I called Portillo and was told that until it’s delivered and I can show that the food is spoiled nothing can be done. My Dad is from Chicago and this was to be his Fathers Day gift. Such a waste and very frustrating.

I’ve ordered/ shipped Italian and Dogs to my father for years, these past few years portions have been reduced and prices increase. That being said….did you really have to reduce the amount of gravy with the beef?? We miss Dick Portillo.

It arrived a lot later than fed ex said, it was not to cool to the touch. Not as good as I remember from 40 years ago. Grew up eating them until I join the army and left Chicago.Probably will not reorder.

As always Portillo’s is a household favorite. When we have out of town guests we always have Portillo’s beef sandwiches on hand and they love them.

I’ve been ordering portillos for years and I will probably continue to do so, but this order fell way short of the mark. Unfortunately they ditched the buckets for bags to keep the gravy and mine was leaking upon arrival. Once heated up I found a couple small bits of plastic floating on top that had to be removed. The beef itself tasted ok, but was almost completely shredded and not the thin strips that I’m used to. All said, we only ate half of the order because it just wasn’t that great. Hopefully they fix these issues the next time I order or it may be the last.

Portillo's is always a treat. Changing the gravy from arriving in LEAKY tubs to bags was a good move however at times we have found the bags will leak as well--if not in transit--when being defrosted in the fridge! We now make sure we place the gravy bag in another bag to defrost and save any leaked gravy. We were not thrilled at the price increase but appreciated the MUCH larger jar of giardiniera peppers.

The order arrived with one of the gravy containers leaking all over the box. It made for a mess to clean up before my family was able to prepare the meal. Since we were celebrating a significant health treatment milestone for our daughter who loves Portillo’s, it was doubly disappointing! Please consider returning to using Tupperware-style containers for your gravy. We will reluctantly stop ordering until we learn that this problem is resolved. Food: A+ Packaging: D
