Worth every penny. Plenty of juicy tender meat and more gravy than you will need to use so you can use the gravy as a soup or stew stock base. The rolls are uniquely perfect for this sandwich. When heated following the directions they are crispy outside and tender inside, sopping up the gravy well. The peppers are delicious and not hot. The giardinera is hot, but tones down when eaten with the sandwich which is rich and flavorful. Be sure to save some gravy for leftover stew, soup or something else. Freezes well, in fact the entire ingredients except the giardinera freeze well.
