I occasionally like to offer my friends and family the taste of Some of Chicago’s finest culinary offerings and thee is no better than Portillo’s. From the Italian beef to the chocolate cake, they are simply the best.

While on a business trip to Chicago, stopped by Portillo's to pickup a big beef combo sandwich for dinner. The sandwich was amazing, flash forward a few weeks and the craving for the sandwich was coming back. Decided to order the combo to ship to me as no one makes a sandwich close to this around here in Connecticut. Package arrived as scheduled and I immediately made 2 sandwiches to enjoy that night. The instructions included were easy to follow and the sandwiches came out good for a non-professional sandwich maker.

I MOVED TO NC FROM CHICAGO IN 2007...I REALLY MISSED MY "COMBINATION BEEF AND SAUSAGE" "SAMICH" I COULD NOT WAIT TO ORDER ONLINE.. DELICIOUS "TASTE OF CHICAGO"...ALL IT WAS MISSING WAS THE "RED" SAUCE... MMMM MMMM GOOD
