The food was amazing and the serving size was more than I expected, which was great!

I was born and raised in Chicago the Italian Beef is me and my Family best food from Chicago We use to drive there for vacation every year and that would be my only meal the whole trip and we would bring some back I am so happy that I can now order it and I try to once a month

Love Portillos! However this time one of the gravy bags broke open in shipping and made a mess of the whole package. We managed to salvage what we could and still got some decent sandwich’s out of the order. Just a bummer.

I wish you would modify your ordering process to include special orders, like extra bread! We starved for good bread in OKC.

We are originally from Chicago and ate Portillos a couple times every week for years. We are thrilled to be able to order Portillo's products at the drop of a hat. I even gave someone in my family some for Christmas. They will now probably start ordering also.

We absolutely LOVE our Portillo's beef and are so thankful we can have it shipped to us. The cost HAS gone up again, but I guess that is to be expected.... The only complaint I have is the leaking gravy....the tubs the gravy used to come in almost ALWAYS leaked in transit--so we were so happy to see gravy switched into bags. However......the bags sometimes leak too! When I open out box I immediately place the gravy bags into large plastic ziplock baggies to catch all that yummy goodness.... But overall---we will absolutely continue to order this delicious treat. (When we visit family in the Chicagoland area we ALWAYS make at least TWO trips to a brick and mortar Portillo's! It's a MUST!)

I’ve ordered a box at least once a year for the past few years and this most recent one saw a drop off in both the quality of the product, but most especially the packaging. The rolls are smaller than they used to be, and switching from the tubs to bags for gravy transport is a big mistake. I opened my box as soon as I got it, and both gravy backs were cracked, thawing, and leaking.

The quality was not as good as it used to be. The peppers turned to mush, in the beef fell apart before I got it in the gravy. There was a lot of shavings left over on this one. However, the taste was amazing and we had a wonderful time with the food. My mom is from Taylor St., Illinois, and my dad went to high school with Dick Portillo. It brought back a lot of memories.

It was shipped fast and the food was great. The only complaint is that one of the gravy packages had a hole in it so the little bit that did defrost during shipping leaked out onto the rest of the box and was a bit of a mess.

It was a horrible shipping experience. It was supposed to arrive on May 14 the day of my son-in-law’s birthday. It said it was to arrive by 3 PM. They had people coming over to celebrate his birthday and this was their dinner. Then the time changed to 8 PM that didn’t work for their dinner plans so they did something different for food as it turned out, it never came that evening It finally came late the next day. Very disappointing.

They said it was good, the only issue I had is, I asked to have it delivered on a certain day and it was delivered a day early. Which is fine if the person was there. Normally that’s a good thing something is delivered early but in this case it’s a business.

FEDEX is always late with the delivery. This time the peppers and rolls were thawed out and the inside of the box was stained from thawed contents.

Brings Chicago up to Minnesota! Everything is legit, and the step-by-step instructions help to get your meal taste just like you remembered. Love the hot peppers! We will order again!

Always great!!! Have ordered numerous times and have never had an issue or been disappointed. Only thing that would make it better… bring a location to O’Fallon MO!!!

Gravy packets either were not sealed or got punctured somehow and leaked all over the items in the shipment. What a mess

I'm from Chicago and now live in California. I've been ordering from the Portillo's website for many years. The Italian Beef Kit always come still mostly frozen (it's shipped in 2 days) and it's just as good as it's always been. The "kit" comes with very specific instructions for re-heating to make sure everything turns out perfectly. I've ordered 2 of these Italian Beef Kits during the month of May!! I highly recommend Portillo's On-Line ordering.

Delish! I grew up in the Chi Subs and grew up on your Ital Beef. Spot on and just what I craved. My critique is the pouches the gravy comes in. I know even the containers used to leak but my pouch leaked and left a small mess inside the box and the styro. Luckily it was delivered a day early! YES! Extra bonus, so it wasn’t thawed enough to be more than a small inconvienience. I ziplocked it up and no more problem. Eaten in 2 separate meals Im pleased with my 3rd order and will be back for a 4th soon!
